Everything you've logged in MoaTails can leave MoaTails. The full export is free on every plan, in formats other software can actually read.
What's In the Export
A ZIP archive containing:
Pets: Every profile with its details
Calendar history: All events, completions, and recurrence rules
Documents: The files you uploaded
Reminders: Your reminder configurations
Metadata: Created and updated timestamps throughout
Data comes as JSON (for tools and developers) and CSV (opens in any spreadsheet).
Exporting
Go to Settings and open the data export screen
Start the export and wait for the archive to build
Save or share the ZIP through the regular share sheet
Doing a yearly digital cleanup? Export a copy for your records. It's also a tidy way to hand a complete care history to a new co-owner.
Good to Know
The export is a snapshot, not a live sync. Export again for fresh data
The archive is not encrypted: it's your readable data, so store it somewhere you trust
Exporting changes nothing in your account. Everything stays in MoaTails too
