Vaccinations & Deworming
Track vaccines with due dates and booster reminders, and keep parasite prevention on a schedule that never relies on memory.
Never Miss a Booster
Vaccines are easy to track on the day they happen and easy to lose track of eleven months later. MoaTails keeps each vaccination as a record with a due date, and reminds you before the next one is due.
Tracking a Vaccination
Create a Vaccination event for the shot (rabies, distemper, or whatever your vet schedules)
When it's done, mark it complete. The record keeps the date and who took the pet in
Add the next due date as its own event, with a reminder offset a few days ahead so you have time to book the vet
Your vet sets the exact schedule. MoaTails makes sure the dates don't live in anyone's memory.
Attach a photo of the vaccination certificate to the event. Proof of rabies vaccination, ready whenever a boarding kennel or groomer asks!
Deworming and Parasite Prevention
Deworming, flea, tick, and heartworm treatments are repeat events by nature, and most of them repeat monthly or quarterly, which is exactly the rhythm memory is worst at. Set each one up as a recurring Medication event:
Monthly heartworm chewable: recurring monthly, reminder on the day
Flea and tick treatment: recurring on your product's schedule
Deworming: whatever rhythm your vet recommends for your pet's age
The whole care team sees what's done, so treatments never double up or fall through between people.
The Paper Trail
Completed vaccinations and treatments build a clean history: useful at the vet, required by boarders, and included in the vet-ready Health Report PDF (Plus and Premium). Store the certificates themselves in Document Storage.
