Medication Tracking
Track doses, set reminders, and see exactly who gave what and when. Built for households where more than one person gives meds.
One Log, Zero Double Doses
Medication mix-ups happen in good homes: one person assumes the other gave the evening pill, or both give it. MoaTails keeps one shared medication log per pet, with every dose stamped by who gave it and when.
Setting Up a Medication
Create a Medication event from the calendar
Add the details: name, dosage, and any notes (like "with food")
Set the frequency: daily, twice daily, weekly, or a custom pattern
Add a reminder offset so the right person gets a nudge before it's due
For a course with an end date (like antibiotics), set the end date on the recurrence and the schedule stops itself.
Put the dosage in the event title, like "Apoquel 16mg, half tablet." Whoever's on duty sees exactly what to give without digging through notes.
Marking Doses
Tap the dose complete when you give it. The log records the time and the person, visible to the whole care team right away. If a dose is overdue, it stays highlighted until someone handles it.
Attaching the Prescription
Link the prescription PDF or a photo of the label straight to the medication event, so the instructions are one tap away. See Document Storage.
Medication History
Every completed dose builds a history you can scroll: what was given, when, and by whom. Useful for vet visits, and included in the Health Report PDF (Plus and Premium).
