Weight Tracking

Log weigh-ins, see trends on a chart, and catch gradual weight changes before they become health problems.

Why Weight Matters

Gradual weight change is one of the earliest visible health signals in pets, and one of the easiest to miss when you see your pet every day. A chart makes the trend obvious in seconds.

Logging a Weigh-in

  1. Create a Weight event from the calendar, or set up a recurring one (weekly works well for most pets)

  2. When you weigh your pet, mark the event complete and enter the number

  3. The value lands on your pet's weight chart automatically

Weights follow your unit preference (kg or lbs), set per pet in Preferences & Units.

Moa the capybara

No pet scale? Weigh yourself, then weigh yourself holding your pet, and subtract. Works great for cats and small dogs!

Reading the Chart

The weight chart shows the latest value over time, so you see your pet's actual weight trend, not daily noise. Filter by week, month, or all time to spot:

  • Slow creep after a food change or neutering

  • Loss that tracks with appetite or energy changes

  • Whether a diet plan is actually working

Sharing With Your Vet

Bring the trend, not a guess. Show the chart at your next visit, or include it in a vet-ready Health Report PDF (Plus and Premium). If your vet is on your care team, they can see it from their own device.
